April 3 1780

Joanna Maria Wellekens was born in Okegem, a daughter to Carolus Joannes and Petronella Verhoeven.

In 1801 Joanna Maria became the second wife of Jacobus Antonius Van de Perre (Okegem 1740 - 1812) with whom she had four children. Jacobus had an additional 11 children with his first wife.

Joannes Van de Perre (Okegem 1801 - 1875) was the eldest of the four. He married Maria Borremans (Strijtem ca 1798 - Okegem 1866).

Further info : "March 18 1866".

February 1 1627

Judocus Paridaens was born in Pamel. He was one of the seven children of Martinus Paridaens (+ Pamel 1667) and Catharina Cools.

Ca 1654, Judocus married Catharina Wijns (+ Pamel 1697). They had seven children too : their son Petrus Paridaens (Pamel 1655 - 1728) and his second wife Gerardina Clement (+ Pamel 1710) had a daughter Magdalena (Pamel 1702 - Okegem after 1785).

In 1728, Magdalena married Joannes Van de Perre (Okegem 1706 - 1762). They had 10 children.

I descend from two of them :

-- Catharina Van de Perre (Okegem 1735 - 1812), who married Petrus De Schepper (Okegem 1736 - 1805) ;

-- Jacobus Antonius (Okegem 1740 - 1812) and his much younger second wife Joanne Maria Wellekens (Okegem 1780 - 1839).

The rest of the lines has been explained in "September 15 1655", "September 8 1735" and various other posts.

January 23 1839

Wellekens Joanna Maria, born in Denderleeuw on April 3 1780, died in Okegem, where she had been the second spouse of Jacobus Antonius Van de Perre (Okegem 1740 - 1812).

Jacobus had fifteen children, of which four with his second wife. Their son Joannes Van de Perre (Okegem 1801 - 1875) married Maria Elisabeth Borremans (Strijtem ca 1798 - Okegem 1866). They had seven children, of which Joanna Catharina (Okegem 1838 - 1914) was the fifth. She married Karel Bernardus Broeckaert (Wetteren 1832 - 1929) whom we have reported on in the last couple of weeks.

August 27 1812

On that day, Jacobus Antonius Van de Perre died in Okegem, where he had been born on March 11 1740. He married twice and had 15 children, of which four with his second wife Joanna Maria Wellekens (Denderleeuw 1780 - Okegem 1839).

The eldest child in the second marriage was Joannes Van de Perre (Okegem 1801 - 1875), who had a daughter Joanna Catharina (Okegem 1838 - 1914). She was the grandmother of my grandfather.

Indeed, her daughter was Clementina Broeckaert (Okegem 1858 - 1939), and Manse was the mother of my grandfather Joannes Franciscus Neukermans (Okegem 1886 - 1961) for whom see "Peter Okegem".
