Maria Schandevijl was born in Pamel, where she lived, and died on November 15 1734. She was a daughter of Marcus Sr Schandevijl, who died in Pamel in 1666, and of Barbara Walckiers, who died there in 1670.
Maria married Adrianus Huylenbroeck, who died in Pamel in 1699.

Marcus Schandevijl Sr was killed by soldiers in Ledeberg. In 1645 he had married Barbara Walckiers, who died in Pamel in 1670. They had three children : Maria, born in Pamel in 1655, was the youngest.

Catharina Van Overstraeten, daughter of Arnoldus and Catharina Piret, died in Pamel. She was married to Guillielmus Walckiers (who was born in Pamel and died there in 1638).
They had five children. Barbara Walckiers, who died in Pamel in 1670, married Marcus Sr Schandevijl in Pamel in 1645. Marcus, who may have come from Outer, was killed (murdered) by soldiers in Ledeberg in 1666.
Their daughter Maria Schandevijl (Pamel 1655 - 1734) was the mother of Catharina Huylenbroeck (Pamel ca 1685 - 1751), whom we just remembered. See the post : "April 12 1699".

The eldest of their six children, Catharina Huylenbroeck (Pamel ca 1685 - 1751) married Gasparus Van der Sleyen (Pamel 1686 - 1749).
Ferdinandus (Pamel 1727 - 1810) was the sixth of their eight children.
His son Michael Van der Sleyen (Pamel 1758 - 1827) married Petronella Van den Eeckhoudt, whom we just met in the previous post.

Anna Walravens was born in Meerbeke, a daughter of Nicolaus (Pamel ca 1610 - Gooik 1666) and of Maria Evenepoel (born ca 1600 - died in Gooik 1671).
Anna married Egidius Huylenbroeck (Pamel). Their son Adrianus Huylenbroeck was born in St Kwintens Lennik and died in Pamel in 1699. His spouse was Maria Schandevijl (Pamel 1655 - 1734). Their daughter Catharina (Pamel ca 1685 - 1751) married Gasparus Van der Sleyen (Palmel 1686 - 1749).

The earlier stages of this line have to be reexamined, because there are some apparently contradictory secondary sources available. But I am having serious doubts about one of those sources, because I have found other errors in it. Time and additional research will tell ...
