Judocus died in Gooik op July 25 1694. He had been born in Gooik on September 21 1649 and was the first husband of Catharina (Maria) Appelmans (Gooik 1656 - 1733), with whom he had two children :
-- Cornelius Timmermans lived for a couple of weeks in Gooik in November 1679 ;
-- Joannes Timmermans was born in Gooik in 1686 and died in Meerbeke in 1769. In 1708 he married Maria Anna De Vleeschauwer (Meerbeke 1683 - 1761). They are among my ancestors.
Barely five months after the death of Judocus, Catharina (Maria) Appelmans married Adrianus Bellemans (Gooik 1670 - 1752), with whom she had two children also :
-- Maria Bellemans (Gooik 1696 - 1784) married Nicolaus Van Eeckhoudt (Gooik ca 1686 - 1770). They are among my ancestors too ;
-- Claudius Bellemans (Gooik 1700 - 1785).
So I descend from Catharina (Maria) Appelmans and from each of her two husbands.

Anna Van Boterdael died in Gooik. She had been married to Joannes Appelmans, who died in Gooik in 1693.
Their daughter Catharina (Maria) Appelmans (Gooik 1656 - 1733) married twice.
-- Her first husband was Judocus Timmermans (Gooik 1649 - 1694), with whom she had two children. I descend from their son Joannes Timmermans (Gooik 1686 - Meerbeke 1769).

-- Her second husband was Adrianus Bellemans (Gooik 1670 - 1752), whom she married in 1694. Again she had two children. I descend from their daughter Maria Bellemans (Gooik 1696 - 1784), who married Nicolaus Van Eeckhoudt (Gooik ca 1686 - 1770).

Augustinus Van Eeckhoudt was born in Gooik, a son to Nicolaus (Gooik ca 1686 - 1770) and Maria Bellemans (Gooik 1696 - 1784). In 1757 he married Joanna Maria Janssens (Pamel 1729 - 1790).
They had seven children, of which Petronella Van Eeckhoudt (Pamel 1771 - 1828) was the youngest.
Petronella was the mother of Maria Elisabeth Van der Sleyen (Pamel 1811 - 1860), oftentimes named before in this blog.
Once more, Maria Elisabeth was my great-great-grandmother on my mother's side and my great-great-great-grandmother on my father's side.
They had seven children, of which Petronella Van Eeckhoudt (Pamel 1771 - 1828) was the youngest.
Petronella was the mother of Maria Elisabeth Van der Sleyen (Pamel 1811 - 1860), oftentimes named before in this blog.
Once more, Maria Elisabeth was my great-great-grandmother on my mother's side and my great-great-great-grandmother on my father's side.

Nicolaus Van Eeckhoudt died in Gooik, where he had been born ca 1686. He married Maria Bellemans (Gooik 1696 - 1770).
Their son Augustinus (Gooik 1727 - Pamel 1775) married Joanna Maria Janssens (Pamel 1729 - 1790).
Augustinus and Joanna Maria had a daughter Petronella Van Eeckhoudt (Pamel 1771 - 1828), and Petronella was the mother of Maria Elisabeth Van der Sleyen (Pamel 1811 - 1860), my mother's great-grandmother and my father's great-great-grandmother. Maria Elisabeth has been named in numerous previous posts.
An interesting detail : Maria Bellemans was a daughter of Adrianus Bellemans (Gooik 1670 -1752) and Catharina (Maria) Appelmans (Gooik 1656 -1733).
When Catharina married Adrianus, she was the widow of Judocus Timmermans (Gooik 1649 - 1694). This is an exemple of the intricate web of family relations in my ancestry in Pamel, Gooik etc.
I descend from Catharina Appelmans through a son out of her first marriage : Joannes Timmermans (Gooik 1686 - Meerbeke 1769), and through a daughter out of her second marriage : Maria Bellemans. Moreover both my father and my mother descended from Maria through her granddaughter Maria Elisabeth Van der Sleyen.
