Philippus Timmermans, born in Meerbeke on November 13 1740, died there on that day in 1814. He was married twice : his first spouse was Catharina De Cooman (ca 1751 - Meerbeke 1791) ; the second one was Petronella Van den Berghe (Meerbeke 1766 - 1824).

According to the present state of my research, he had nine children, four of them with Petronella. The youngest of these nine children was Charles Timmermans (Meerbeke 1812 - 1883), my great-great-grandfather.

As stated before, my research on the Timmermans family in Meerbeke in the 18th and 19th century is far from complete.
