A German professor (of course, who else) warns hat a forced smile - the so called toothpaste smile extensively used by sales personel, politicians and flight attendants - can harm health. It can lead to severe stress and high blood pressure.I knew it ! I knew it ! I'm glad to hear it confirmed !

I systematically refuse to smile when I have my picture taken : what, for pete's sake, is there to smile about on that occasion ?
A smile can be a thing of ravishing beauty, but most people with forced smiles look like idiots.

I never liked the guy in the picture nor his politics, but now I must admit that much worse things can happen !
