Pathetic in Time

Time publishes its list of the 100 most influential people worldwide.

See : http://www.time.com/time/specials/2007/0,28757,1733748,00.html.

I shouldn't comment on this list : it is pure, unadulterated horse manure.

It's a joke, a bad, US centered, joke. Just browse through the list, you'll see. The Dalai Lama in spot number one is one of the few exceptions and something of a politically correct alibi in an almost all-US festival, with a couple of Arabs and third world "leaders" thrown in for good measure.

Within the US, the three presidential candidates (nr 3, 4 and 5 in the world list) are deemed more influential than Dubya himself ! And Benedict XVI and Desmond Tutu may feel honored and relieved that they did't make it. I'm sure Benedict wouldn't care for a significant part of the company ; I'm not so sure about Tutu !

Moreover, it's a disgusting and totally unjust joke ; neither our present prime minister, nor the previous one, made the list.

Whoehahaha !!!

Once more : statistics stink ... beurk !
