Exactly 180 years ago, Petronella Van Eeckhoudt died in Pamel, where she had been born on February 14 1771. She married Michael Van der Sleyen (Pamel 1758 - 1827). They had six children. Maria Elisabeth Van der Sleyen (Pamel 1811 - 1860) was the youngest.

This line has been reported on over and over again, including in the post "May 9 1811". Maria Elisabeth was 17 years and two days old when her mother passed away.
