Political and correct

-- The (in)famous but highly intelligent Yabou Jahjah of AEL fame is rumored to have had an unfair politically inspired trial regarding his role in a manifestation in Antwerp in 2002. The sentence included a one year prison term. The case now lies before the court of appeal and Mr Jahjah shall not be satisfied with anything less than a resounding not guilty.
The man had left Belgium, for the Lebanon I think, but came back specifically for his appeal. If politically inspired trials are rumored to be possible, how about a politically correct one ? I for one, prefer to continue to believe that justice is blind, as it should be. Well, we'll see ...

-- Police in Anderlecht is expecting renewed guerilla between allochtone youths and football hooligans on Wednesday or on Friday. One wonders why ? It is not as if the participating scum on both sides needs to wait for half a free day or for the free week-end. Many of them are too young to work ; the others never did a day's honest work in their miserable lives.
There has been a lot of political talk and indignation but I suppose that the political discussion of really efficient measures will have to wait until there are some victims ? One wonders whether the right to break and destroy is of a higher order than the right for protection of the innocent shopkeepers and other inhabitants of the "war zone" ?
