Dreaming ...

Take one hundred politicians and opinion makers in this country. Choose them well so that all opinions are represented by their most vocal defendors.

Put them all in individual cells for two weeks with a TV blaring over and over again all their declarations and remarks concerning the reform of the state. Feed them water and bread, and keep the TV going for two weeks, twenty four hours a day.

A couple of them are so stark raving mad that they will stand that torture to the end, but the others will beg to come out much sooner with the best of dispositions ... to agree on any sensible proposal.

One may dream, may one not ?
