Poor

The papers state that by 2016 four out of ten Belgians of 75 and older will be poor, as official, legal pensions have not been, are not, and will not be rising as much as they should.

My ! My ! It will not take that long if the bank - which manages my hard earned but meager capital - continues to operate as "brilliantly" as it did over the last eighteen months. I selected a low risk profile. I wonder how the guys who (greedily) selected a high risk profile are doing ?

I lose money faster than I ever made it. But getting out of my contract with the bank now means taking a big loss. I know it may be even bigger by the end of the year or in two years time, but one hopes that the trend will soon be reversed. I wrote "hope", not "believe".
