Colonizing the Costas

One of the most "pestilent" subjects for reality TV concerns the Brits who for years have been colonizing the Costas (and parts of France, of Italy etc) .

Most of them are unadulterated, arrogant imperialists. They fully expect the Spanish and others to bow over, to abandon their customs and way of life to suit the needs of the colonisers. The lower their social status, the more they expect from others and the less they are inclined to adapt to their adoptive country.

Living abroad is their god-given right and no one is going to stop them.

It is thus with some malicious pleasure - yes, I am a contrarian bastard - that I read that reality is starting to slap them in the face and that the day of reckoning may be near.
