Henricus Covens was born in Malderen, a son to Henricus (born ca 1617) and Catharina Verheyen. The father was farmer (pachter) of the Groenhof in Malderen.

The son became an important guy in Pamel. See the extended post for "February 1 1739", the day of his death.
