A quotation from one of the blogs of Jeffrey Smith. Jeffrey is one of my favorite bloggers : he has set up some very beautiful blogs on religious art (and on other subjects). One of them is listed in my favorites ("I dig") . It is called : "The Roving Medievalist". On that site, readers can find the addresses of his other blogs.
So here comes Jeffrey :
"I'm sick to death of all this asinine, lame-brained, nonsense about the supposed Moslem domination of Europe. It's nothing more than a half-baked, internet conspiracy theory cooked up by brain dead morons, who are used by political zealots who want to preserve the petroleum powered culture of death at all cost. These people need to take their heads out of their asses long enough to have the fact that minorities of 10% or less do not become dominant all that easily knocked into their thick heads. The only way the predictions they pull out of the place where they usually keep their heads would have a chance of reaching reality would be if current demographic trends would continue unchanged for several hundred years. Life doesn't work that way."
This citation comes from a blog he specifically set up to spit out his bile - of which he has a lot. Jeffrey does not allow comments on that blog : "It's my blasted blog. I'll say whatever I bloody well please." and "No comments. If I want your opinion, I'll give it to you." Ahum.
So I'll react here : Jeffrey believes in official statistics. For Belgium at least there is absolutely convincing proof that the figures on immigration are totally unreliable, and nothing more than rough under-estimates. Moreover, Jeffrey has no direct knowledge of the situation in Europe. But that does not stop him ranting ...
Generally I can appreciate his very acid contrarian style, but this time, he is going ballistic, I think.
