On New Year's day 1595 Petrus Guns was born in Denderhoutem where he died in July 1646. He married Petrina Gryseels, born in Denderhoutem in 1594. They had five children.

The oldest was another Petrus Guns born in Denderhoutem in 1620 who married Joanna Van Muylem (who died in Denderhoutem in 1689).

Petrus and Joanna had 10 children. Maria Guns, born in Denderhoutem in 1660, married Joannes Goossens, born in the same year in the same village.

You will have remarked that we met most of these names before. Egidius Goossens was one of their kids. We just reported on him in : "December 31 1762".
