Finally !!!

On June 7 2007, I posted "Een oude foto en een mysterie opgelost" - in which I detailed the family relation between my mother's mother and my father's mother. I promised to publish a photo, but apparently I mislaid it.

I finally recovered it in an envelope with family pictures which my beloved and regretted uncle Eugeen Neukermans (Okegem 1921 - 2004) gave to me in 2002.

On the left : my mother's mother : Maria Antonia De Vidts (Pamel 1885 - Okegem 1949).

On the right : my father's mother Rosalia Margaretha (Margriet) Ravijst (Meerbeke 1892 - Gent 1973).

In the middle : Felix De Vidts (Pamel 1853 - 1940), the father of Maria Antonia and the grand-uncle of Rosalia Margaretha. His older sister Antonia was the maternal grandmother of Rosalia Margaretha.

The picture was taken in front of the house of my maternal grandparents on the Rattenberg in Okegem in July 1939 at the occasion of the marriage of my parents.
