Catharina Asselman died in Okegem. She was born on June 7 1823 as a daughter of Andreas Asselman (Okegem 1795 - 1875) and Alexandrina Van der Speeten (Okegem 1795 - 1831).

She married Amandus Neukermans (Okegem 1824 - 1857) and they had five children, three daughters and two sons. My great-grandfather Hermilianus (Okegem 1855 - 1932) was the fourth of their children.

Catharina lost her mother at a very young age ; and her husband died quite young too. She must not have had an easy life ... She has been mentioned in a number of previous posts.
