Petrus Van der Speeten died in Okegem where he was buried two days later. He was born in Okegem on January 1 1733 and married Joanna De Mol (Okegem 1733 - 1791) in 1757.

The had nine children. Cornelius Van der Speeten (Okegem 1772 - 1806) was number eight. In 1795 he married Alexandrina De Schepper (Okegem 1775 - 1853). They had six children. After his death, Alexandrina married Petrus Judocus Neukermans in 1807. With him, she had an additional three children.

Alexandrina Van der Speeten (Okegem 1795 - 1831) was the eldest of six children of Cornelius and Alexandrina. We just met her in the previous post "February 15 1785".

The Petrus Judocus Neukermans she married was a member of the second (probably related) branch of the Neukermans family in Okegem. Both branches appeared in Okegem in the years after the census of 1693.
