Sick

The day after tomorrow, my personal computer will be admitted to an intensive care unit. It has been quite ill for a couple of months and no diagnosis has yet been made, so a longish observation has been decided.

I do not know how long the beast will have to stay in the clinic. It is not impossible that the origin of its problems lies in anti virus programs battling each other. But some other, potentially much mre dangerous hypotheses, are swirling around.

Sometimes I think that pc users are squeezed between a rock (no anti virus thus risk of hacking) and a hard place (anti virus almost taking over).

As from next weekend, I myself will be incommunicado for an as yet undefined period.
