Father

Today, October 14, would have been the 95th birthday of my dearly beloved father. Unfortunately, after a life largely dominated by hard toil, sacrifice and more than his share of misery, he passed away before his 67th birthday. His "objective" which je stated more than once in a semi-serious, semi-joking way, was to become 76 years old. The Big Boss decided otherwise, and I am sure the Big Boss had his reasons, although I shall never understand them.

My father's was dedicated to his wife and children, and he kept an open heart to everyone around him.

Friendship, wisdom, justice and simplicity were some of his outstanding qualities.

He was a giant among men. I miss him ever more.
