Dogm

One splendid exemple that economics is a religion with dogms. I quote :

Save Free Markets - Save The World

"US government may take part ownership in banks"

News that the Bush administration is considering taking part ownership in a number of U.S. banks helped restore a relative calm over global financial markets Thursday. Well if there was any doubt left, now it should be very clear to anyone that we are witnessing the greatest governmental power grab in the history of the United States and that free market economics in this country may be dead.

Government created this "crisis" and blamed free markets for the problem. It has thus given itself license to nationalize an industry critical to our no longer free market economy.

Fear is the key. These villains are feeding on our fear, executing an economic coup. The worst part is that they have convinced us this is what we need, what we want. Not me! The Government and the people executing this coup are not our saviors. They are not heroes. They are Villains.

Save The Free Markets - Save The World.

Can there be better proof that no one is blinder than they who do not want to see ?

How dogmatic do you have to be to blame the present crisis on governments instead of on free market excesses ???

Unfortunately, this is not a solitary exemple. It is a relatively inoffensive one, but internet is full of - mainly American - conservative websites and blogs who spin the same story and sell the same drivel.

Poor America, indeed !!
