Congo ... and elsewhere

From the BBC website : "The UN Security Council condemns military action by Congolese rebels, as thousands flee fighting in eastern DR Congo."

It would be laughable, ridiculous indeed, if it weren't infinitely sad.

There, and in so many other regions of the world, we are guilty of indifference and almost criminal insouciance ... Time and time again, crises erupt and we intervene way too late or do nothing at all.
