Certainties

There are no certainties in life, but there is a near certainty in mine. I am almost absolutely certain that I will not die in a coach accident in Egypt.

I shall never go there of my own free will. Egypt does not interest me at all. There are other countries which I would like to visit, but never will, because I am not tired of life : Israel for instance.

My very deepest sympathy to the families of the victims of the terrible recent crash near Abu Simbel.
