Thank you

One of our news brewers reports that the Russian billionaire Suleiman Kerimov, who lost € 700 mio in the Fortis affair, feels he has been lied to, and cheated, by Maurice Lippens, former Fortis top man. He is rumored to be preparing criminal charges against the count.

Let us, for one moment, forget how mister Kerimov built his own fortune (he is considered one of the richest men in the world) and say thank you, mr Kerimov. Because, whatever his background and motivation, he is doing something significant. Something which no other individual could, or would even have dared to do.

Everyone is innocent until proven guilty. Personally I doubt whether criminal charges might stick, but I am no lawyer and I do not have all the facts. But let the truth come out ; and what better place to do so that than a court of law ?
