Joannes De Vidts died in Pamel. He never knew his granddaughter, my grandmother Maria Antonia De Vidts (Pamel 1885 - Okegem 1949).

Joannes married Maria Elisabeth Van der Sleyen (Pamel 1811 - 1860) and followed her from the Brusselstraat to the Koestraat. See : "July 3 1737".

They had eight children - my father descends from their daughter Antonia who was born in Pamel in 1840 and my mother descends from their son Felix (Pamel 1853 - 1940).

Felix was my great-grandfather ; Antonia is my great-great-grandmother. See : "Een oude foto en een mysterie opgelost".
