Patience

The BBC writes that UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon has appealed to frustrated Haitians to be patient over efforts to bring them relief from last Tuesday's earthquake.

Does this guy realise what he is really saying ?

Don't die yet from hunger, or from thirst, or from untended wounds, or from utter misery ; you are too impatient !

Maybe he does not live in an ivory tower but in a foreign galaxy, thousands of lightyears away.

Ik heb me een paar dagen geleden opgewonden over een titel in De Standaard.

The BBC kan dat even goed : "UN chief Ban Ki-Moon calls for for (sic) Haiti aid patience"
