Holy Week.I now fondly remember the services we were obliged to participate in during our "college" (high school) years, but in those days we hated the unending and annoying liturgies of the pascal triduum. How people can change !
The services themselves have been altered in a very significant way since the second Vatican council (I am a pre-Vatican council product). Though I long for the commanding and imposing Roman stage management and majesty of yesteryear, I have to admit that the present services are impressive in their own right.
