My great-great-grandmother Coleta Vlaeminck was born in Denderhoutem. She was the seventh of nine children of Paulus Franciscus (Massemen 1773 - Aalst 1819) and of Maria Anna Goossens (Denderhoutem 1774 - 1852). Maria Anna remarried after Paulus Franciscus died but had no more offspring.

Coleta married twice : first with Josephus Baeyens (Denderhoutem 1805 - 1846) with whom she had five children ; then with Franciscus Muylaert (Nieuwerkerken 1818 - 1888) with whom she had three children, the eldest of which was my great-grandmother Blondina Muylaert (Denderhoutem 1849 - Pamel 1942). Blondina thus had a younger brother and a sister (who were twins), as well as four half-sisters and a half-brother.
