Poor sods

"The Greatest Speeches of All-Time", an American product, comprises 39 speeches on three dvd's.

My free translation of comments in De Standaard :

"The idea that most of the best speeches of all time were given by American politicians and opinion leaders is so pompously ridiculous that it makes one grin. Such a degree of self delusion can only be labeled as a typical symptom of American imperialism."

And the editors apparently are worse than creationists because for them time started in 1932.

There are, of course, no TV shots of Cicero, but still ...

At first, I wanted to introduce some nuance and add "cultural" to "imperialism", but imperialism will do just fine, thank you.
