You know what I think about statistics, polls and surveys. Garbage in, garbage out.

Results of a poll depend entirely on the questions asked, and on their formulation. What are the definitions these polls use to decide whether you are a democrat, a liberal, a socialist, or whatever ? How do they weigh the answers to the various questions ?

By the way, I took the test and I came out a convinced democrat : nothing wrong there in my definition of the word, but quite wrong when I look at some policies American democrats stand for.

By the way, and to avoid all misunderstanding, I feel closer to US democrats than to US republicans. But that is not saying much : I feel both parties are wrong on essential points of policy.

As I wrote before, I shall not envy the Americans when they will be standing in the voting booths come November. Terrible responsibility !
