On that day, Petrus Van der Speeten died in Denderhoutem, where he had been born on March 27 1661. His second wife was Catharina De Brabander, who was born in Okegem and died in Denderhoutem in 1746.

They had a son Joannes (Denderhoutem 1702 - Okegem 1761). Joannes was the father of Petrus (Okegem 1733 - 1786) who had a son Cornelius (Okegem 1772 - 1806).

Cornelius had a daughter named Alexandra (Okegem 1795 - 1831), who was the mother of Catharina Asselman (Okegem 1823 - 1892). Catharina was the mother of my great-grandfather Hermilianus Neukermans. They have been named before in this blog.
