Right for once

The Belgian foreign minister recently poured cold water on former British prime minister Tony Blair's bid to become the European Union's first full-time president.

He said that Belgium would not accept a candidate from a country that does not fully participate in all EU policies, including the euro currency and the bloc's passport-free zone. Our prime minister has "more or less" given the same message.

"Une fois n'est pas coutume" : for once, I full heartedly agree with our Belgian ministers.

The guy (arrogance is his middle name) should be forced to look for another job. The EU is a bad enough mess as it is.
