September 8 1735

Catharina Van de Perre was born in Okegem where she passed away on September 12 1812.
In 1768 she married Petrus De Schepper, born in Okegem on September 5 1736 and who died there on January 24 1805. They had four children, two of which died very young.

Their youngest child was Alexandrina De Schepper (Okegem 1775 - 1853), the mother of Alexandrina Van der Speeten (Okegem 1795 -1831). Alexandrina Van der Speeten was the mother of Catharina Asselman (Okegem 1823 - 1892), the mother of my great-grandfather Hermilianus Neukermans (Okegem 1855 - 1932) - see "De kloefkapper" and various previous posts.

Apparently my attention span is not always what it should be - I omitted to post an article concerning the birth of Petrus De Schepper on September 5 1736 !
