December 24 1886

My maternal grandfather Joannes Franciscus Neukermans, Cis van de kloefkapper, was born in Okegem on December 24 1886, now 121 years ago.

He was one of the most important persons in my life, and a lasting example to me. I still think of him almost every day. More about him when I resume blogging some time between Christmas and the new year.
