Joannes Appelmans died in Gooik on December 1693. Appelmans is a common name in the Pajottenland - I have not yet tried to define his ascendants. He had three children with his first wife Anna Van Boterdael, who died in Gooik in 1678.

Catharina (Maria) Appelmans (Gooik 1656 - 1733) was the third child. She had four children, two of them with her first husband Judocus Timmermans (Gooik 1649 - 1694). The oldest son lived for less than a month ; the second one Joannes Timmermans (Gooik 1686 - Meerbeke 1769) had a half-brother and a half-sister.
