Racism ?

The president of the University of Delaware has pulled the plug on a controversial student diversity program.

Training materials for the program stated : "The term (racist) applies to all white people ... living in the United States, regardless of class, gender, religion, culture or sexuality. By this definition, people of color cannot be racists, because ...they do not have the power to back up their prejudices, hostilities, or acts of discrimination."

Sometimes there are not enough words to describe the stupidity of some politically correct "scientists" and students. The program was justly called the dead end of absurdity and political correctness.

Did you know that some teachers no longer refer to a "blackboard" but to a "multicouloured-board"? I always wonder if they correct the tasks of their students with a "native-american-couloured pen"?

...alas dear Lebber: true you are on the coloured board: but the only reason for that is because most "schoolboards" are just not black anymore.
Anywho, I do support your opinion on hypercorrecting and being politically correct at all times.

It was our fellow teacher of English of old who informed me this way, however she was probably wrong, and I gladly stand corrected. Let us not forget this gem of a oneliner she gave us: "A hare is a male rabbit"!

That reminds me of a very important Belgian businessman who once had the historic insight that cement is a mixture of sable and water.
Nothing to do with the post, but nice to know. By the way, I still can't stand that guy.
