Globalisation in reverse

I have been thinking about deglobalisation, probably a necessary complement to the collapse of free markets. As a well trained economist, I cannot yet accept that protectionism is a possible road to salvation. It is true that I have lost my faith in the free market religion, but some dogms are harder to lose than others.

Now I read that even in Davos, the high mass celebration of capitalism and free market dogms, doubts have been emerging : "But while the ideas that underpinned globalisation remain firmly in place, events are moving in the opposite direction."
